![]() Did you catch ABC 612 with Spencer Howsen yesterday around 7:30am? Denis Peel from the Fairfield Walking History Tour was on talking about the amazing Frank Corley photograph collection found in the John Oxley State Library which showcases over 60,000 photos of Queensland homes which were taken and sold door to door in the 60's and 70's. The photos still in the collection are those which were not sold and The Annerley Stephens History Group is undertaking a project to identify them with modern homes in the Annerley and Fairfield area. Already responses have flooded in to help Denis and the group with this huge undertaking. The locations are mostly vague and indicate where Frank started photographing and the turns taken on the way but rarely street names or house numbers. If you would like to help the group figure out this puzzle and locate houses in the Stephens District area, email Denis Peel at: annerleybrisbane@gmail.com Listen to the interview here.
