![]() I know we bang on A LOT about how much we love our suburb and all the wonderful locals and community groups which make it so awesome to live here. Well, this post will be no different as we have nothing but love for our community once again after another super successful Annerley Junction Jumble Sale! With an estimated 1000 customers and over 25 stalls of food, craft and second hand goods, this was our biggest event yet! This was the first time we have allowed external stallholders to take part in the event which was the next logical step after three years of successful events at the Junction. In previous years, we were gauging interest and building momentum and including traders other than those who had businesses on the strip meant we could include more locals and make it a really fun environment for everyone. ![]() We had a group of yarn-bombing crafters out in force before the big day and we'd like to thank Claire, Hayley, Ky, Sissy, Narelle and Soraya for all your help in making the Junction feel a little bit warmer on a chilly day. The poles are still all kitted out in their wooly jumpers if you want to head down and check it out. There was face-painting and an ice-cream truck for the kids and the young-at-heart along with loads of other great stalls and fun activities to be part of. Voodoo Rabbit held a free Make-and-Take workshop where you could make your own fabric keyring which was a huge success. There were also huge sales at the Annerley Community Bookshop, Southside Antiques, Our Lady of Saintly Salvage, Annerley Meats and loads of other lovely traders on the strip. Lastly, we would like to thank our major sponsors, for without them, our event would never get off the ground. They have supplied monetary donations along with in kind support that helps us run these events each year and we are so thankful for their ongoing support. Click on the images above to show them some love!
