You may have noticed some beautiful new decorations going up around Annerley Junction recently. Junction Park State School is running a Safe Travels project to educate the wider community about travel on and around Ipswich Rd to Waldheim Street. They invite you to join our Theme Team to create art & craft based works to beautify and educate, and make us all safer in our daily travels.
We are lucky enough to have the amazing local artist, Ky Curran along with a group of parents at the school who have taken part in the project and who are keen to get locals and visitors in the mind-frame that they are in a school area when visiting the Junction. If you want to add to the project, you can make pom poms, crochet flowers or other bright small creations which can be handed in to Handmade High Street at 1/466 Ipswich Road. They will then be used in a number of different projects around the Junction to highlight our great area and the schools which are close by.
