In 2013 the first Junction Jumble sale event was held in July by the Annerley Junction Traders on Ipswich Road. Over 1000 people turned up to bag a bargain at our fabulous shopping precinct.
We were lucky enough to have the lovely ladies and gents from St Luke's church in Ekibin to hold a bake sale, sausage sizzle and craft stall and along with our regular traders who had table stalls out the front of their businesses, the day was a huge success.
The heart of Annerley Junction lies in our community spirit and we are very lucky to have a crack team of market organisers who make all events possible in our suburb. They have been working hard behind the scenes to make sure that this event is no different!
If you would like to get involved, we are looking for donations of colourful jumpers, blankets and other knitted goods to yarn bomb the strip. We would love to see removable public artworks placed around the Junction close to the date.
If you would like more information, please see the homepage of this website, our Facebook page or the Annerley Community Plus+ Facebook page.
